Indonesian firm PT Sarindo Nusa Pratama on Monday launched its mobile phone brand D-One and three new mobile phone devices to take on the dominant players in the country.

The three new models are DG 518, SG 368 and DM 299.

“Designed in Indonesia and produced in China, we expect D-One to win two percent of Indonesia’s mobile phone sales this year,” Sarindo sales and marketing director Sung Khiun said in a press conference.

The phones are made in China as the country has developed its mobile phone technology and infrastructure more than Indonesia, he added. (more…)
