TOKYO, Aug. 7_(Kyodo) _
A total of 205 Indonesian caregivers and nurses arrived in Japan on Thursday, the first group to take jobs here under a bilateral economic partnership agreement that took effect July 1.
It also represents Japan’s first full-fledged acceptance of foreign workers in the medical and nursing-care fields which have been facing serious labor shortages. (more…)
